When using other products such as GrownBy, Shopify, and Square's ecommerce storefront. When selecting a pickup date, they all have the availible Dates and time-slots listed for a quick glance over what's availible.
While all the checkboxes in Grown By could be overwhelming when the schedule is particularly complex or long, It helps to see what's availible. In a previous bug report β¨ Timeslot Widget does not update after a new date is set Active , there was a hint at this being a pain point and a Feature Request in there showing how the UI could be redesigned.
Make the form to select an availible time slot not dependent on clicking (and expanding) the calendar, or at the very least have it select the first available one.
It would be ideal to see at least what dates are availible without being hidden behind a click especially on mobile where the date picker is particularly cumbersum to operate.
