Prevent the changed date of entities to be updated when updating a reference

Problem/Motivation

Now, when for example a node is saved to update an entity reference, its changed date is updated. That shouldn't happen since this isn't an actual update, it's just behind the scenes maintenance.

Not sure 100% of use cases would want the date unchanged but I do believe is the correct default behaviour. I'm open to changes that would make this configurable.
