Product images in the "NEW PRODUCT" section are not clickable

Problem/Motivation

I added some products that were displayed in the "NEW PRODUCT" section, and when I clicked on the images expecting to be redirected to the product page, instead nothing happens, I believe the images should be clickable and go to the product page:

Apply theming changes to make these product images clickable
