Setup repeat rules for iCal feeds

Problem/Motivation

Need to import events via an iCal feed from Google Calendar and other sources that have the events defined using recurrence.

Most of the issues I've found referencing recurrent are over a decade old. They point to using the Date Repeat Field module (a submodule of Date). It appears that in Drupal 11, the date functionality has been relocated to core and there no longer is the Date Repeat Field module.

What module should be used so recurrent events can be ingested into the system?
