PRLP Password reset fails when legal module enabled

Cloning an existing issue that appears to have been prematurely solved(?)

To reproduce:
=> Install/configure the module
=> Create/notify the user
=> User clicks on the one-time login link, accepts terms, and gets redirected to /user/uid, and not the user password reset page.
=> Now the user attempts to reset the password without knowing the current password

Using the GitHub version of the module. Figured I would open the issue here since other users of the module may be looking for a solution as well.

We are seeing this now in D11/v2.0.1

It appears the old issue in the queue was closed prior to patches being merged, etc?
