i wasnt able to reproduce the issue out of the box. Did you somehow manually removed the configuration?

@sascha_meissner the error happens on Drupal CMS V1. When i tried installing it with php 8.3. There's no check for null. It was a white screen of death due to php 8.3 expecting to check if the config was null first.

I added the line for initalizing $settings.

Please review and feedback.

Tried and and tested on Drupal 11.2.1 and Php 8.3 No Errors when saving configurations and WSOD gone!!

Do you have an idea, WHY your config set is empty? Did you used klaro_migrator from eu-cookie-compliance?
