This is cool and I didn't know about it, or I assumed at the time it only worked with core date and didn't work with smart_date range field types. I didn't previously see this issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/date_ap_style/issues/3167284 →

Same, I hadn't heard of the date augmenter API until I installed Drupal CMS locally to try it out, and was just watching the list of installed modules.
How do you feel about adding this module's functionality into date_ap_style? Do you think that is a good idea?

I've added the similar modules section to the project page.
I have only briefly looked at what date_ap_style currently offers, but it looks like it applies more of the AP Style guidelines than this module is currently doing.
My organization has not even adopted this module yet because we have in-code manipulations where we need this same set of rules to override the PHP datetime formatting. Similar to `\Drupal::service('date.formatter')->format()` or `\Drupal::service('smart_date.manager')->formatSmartDate()`
In other words, I might be looking at data_ap_style here shortly to see if it meets my organization's needs.
