Unable to schedule any transition

Problem/Motivation

I cant seem to get this to work. It installs fine and I am able to select and schedule date/time in the ui. But no data is ever saved in the db.

The node__scheduled_transition_date and node__scheduled_transition_state tables are empty.

There are no errors in the logs or js console.

I've cleared caches, run drush updb and drush entup and nothing.

I'm using drupal 10.4.2
