The project page and README describes how the module works, but not the benefits, in plain words.

See the project page and README, and not being sure what the benefits are of using the module.

Proposed resolution

Add a few sentences on the project page and README, describing what the module does, basically a brief resumé of the D7 doc page https://www.drupal.org/node/2136601 → .
