Problem/Motivation

Trying to install 3dev version i got this advice

composer require 'drupal/manage_display:3.x-dev@dev'
./composer.json has been updated
Running composer update drupal/manage_display

In GitDownloader.php line 82:

Version 3.0.1, on the other hand, installs without any problems.
