Provide a checkbox to remove the small arrow on the menu when hovering to expand the menu is ticked

Created on 31 January 2025, 24 days ago

Hello,

Primary Menu Settings >> Tick this box if you prefer to show the main menu dropdowns when hovering over them with the mouse, instead of clicking. (Big screen only)

See the above settings, If I tick it (show the main menu dropdowns when hovering over them with the mouse), I hope to provide a checkbox to remove the arrow icon on the right. This feature will only appear when I tick it.

Because I think if set up a hover expand menu, this small arrow doesn't have much useful, and it also takes up a lot of space, making the main menu take up multiple rows and affecting its appearance. Especially when there are many menu items.

Although I can hide this small arrow through CSS, I still hope it can be built into the theme.

Thank you

    Hello,

I will see what I can do! I'll make sure this feature only active when the hover setting is enabled on big screen.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
    Best wishes,

    Hello,
The feature has been added to the horizontal main menu. A new checkbox appears under 'Enable Hover.' If checked, another checkbox will be available to hide the arrow from level-one menu items on large screens only. It has been pushed to dev—feel free to test it.

    Best wishes,
    Alaa
