I was trying to update to V3.0.1 but it seems that PHP >=8.3 is a new requirement. we have another software running on the server which does not support PHP 8.3 now. is 8.3 really necessary for V3.0.1 of this module?

Since we are supporting Drupal 10 and our module supports 8.1, I don’t see any problem in lowering the requirement.
