Field settings is a good spot, I think I got the reference direction reversed or something, but I think the other two we should defer until we're trying to support multiple certificate types.

I opened 📌 Support multiple certificate types Active for the plugin system and moving the controller. Pushed a commit to add a proper @todo. Going to mark this one fixed.
