Problem/Motivation

To ensure Drupal CMS evolves into a more intuitive and user-friendly platform, it is essential to gather insights from real users. This initial round of user testing will focus on both usability and conceptual understanding to identify areas for improvement and inform future iterations.

Objective

Conduct a comprehensive first round of user tests, combining usability testing and concept validation. The goal is to evaluate key workflows, gather feedback on new features, and test the clarity of core concepts to improve the overall user experience.

Scope

This task will serve as the umbrella for multiple related user testing efforts, including:

  • Usability testing of content creation, SEO tools, and accessibility workflows.
  • Concept research to validate and refine the understanding of key terminologies like “Modules” and “Recipes.”

Deliverables

  • A consolidated research report with insights from both usability and concept testing.
  • Actionable recommendations for improving the Drupal CMS based on user feedback.
