At the moment there are two problems in regard of the aural interface for the multi select element. If you take a look and listen at popup_and_summary.mp4 you will notice two things:
pop up button while the multi select is only announced with group which is total generic and has not semantic value admin/modules/browse/drupalorg_jsonapi expand the multi select and one of the three select element while your screenreader is activenative elements should be mimiced as close as possible. the exact way is still up for discussion
