The key_value_sorted table does not have primar key thus will not work well with READ-COMMITTED transaction isolation level.

We get this error in the status report page:

For this to work correctly, all tables must have a primary key. The following table(s) do not have a primary key: key_value_sorted. See the setting MySQL transaction isolation level → page for more information.
