First version of 3.x was recently released - September 2024.
*There is no 3.0.0 release, it starts at 3.3.0 due to a typo.

There are some deprecations to review.
Since there are a handful of modules using this library, it would be great to allow multiple versions to be installed, if possible, or separate versions released so a compatible version can be installed.
