No link template 'edit-form' found for the 'commerce_product_attribute_value' entity type

Problem/Motivation

I think the "entity_reference_edit_link" module is not compatible with the "Commerce 2" module.

Steps to reproduce

  • Install a Drupal project.
  • Install the Commerce 2 module and configure it (create a store, product attributes, a variation, and a product).
  • Install the Entity Reference Edit Link module.
  • Create a product with a variation.
  • Create a content type "product page" with an entity reference field to the "product type."
  • Configure the Entity Reference Edit Link module to add the "edit" button to the "product page" content type.
  • Add content to a product page and save it.
  • Go back to the edit form of the product page, click "edit" next to the field referencing the product. Once in the product, click "Variations," then click "edit" on one of the variations.

The following error appears:

No link template 'edit-form' found for the 'commerce_product_attribute_value' entity type in Drupal\Core\Entity\EntityBase->toUrl()
