XHR request for configurationjs fails due to CORS policy

Problem/Motivation

When I have the Wiris module activated and the mathtype button added to CKEditor in Drupal 10, the CKEditor fails to load entirely.

Steps to reproduce

Install the WIRIS module
Add the MathType button to the CKEditor toolbar
Try to create a basic page where CKEditor is the configured text editor
[see how the CKEditor doesn't load]

Proposed resolution

Change https://www.wiris.net/demo/plugins/app/configurationjs to allow any origin.

Is unfortunately not an option as we have no control over that.

I just tested this on a live site and there it still seems to be working fine. Can you share some more info like error logs for example?
