[DEFECT] - Unstyled date is displaying at bottom of 'Page'

Created on 5 December 2024, 16 days ago

Problem/Motivation

On the Page content type, a date is displaying at the bottom of the page. It appears to be the custom last updated date. The Last updated date should display in the banner and only if the user has checked the box to display it. In this case, the date is displaying even when 'Show last updated date' is unchecked.
This does not appear to be happening on all pages. I feel this has been fixed previously but has reoccured. Or, maybe it was fixed for a specific project but not in core.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a 'Page' content type
  2. Doesn't matter if 'Show last updated date is checked or not
  3. Save the page
  4. View front end, scroll to bottom of page body

Observed

The day and date (in US format) displays below the body.

Expected

No date should display at the bottom. The Last updated date displays only in the banner and only if the box is checked.
