DEFECT - Promo cards in automated lists are not referencing custom last updated date

Problem/Motivation

The 'Page' content type has an option to show the 'last updated date' and to add a custom date. When a custom date is added, the 'Last updated date' will always show the custom date regardless of if the node has been updated since that date.
When referencing a node with a custom date in an automated list using a Promo card, the 'custom' last updated date is ignored, and the Promo card instead displays the last published date (the actual last updated date).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a 'Page' (or use an existing page) and set a custom last updated date
  2. Reference that card in an Automated list using a Promo card
  3. Wait until the custom date has passed, then edit the Page. Don't change the custom date
  4. View the Automated list (may need to refresh page) and observe the date

Observed

The date on the Promo card is 'today's' date - or the date that the referenced node was re-published.

Expected

The date on the Promo card should match the custom date on the referenced node
