BootstrapIconFormatter does not render the bootstrap icon

Problem/Motivation

The BootstrapIconFormatter does not seem to render the bootstrap icon on link field. It seems like it checks for data-icon on the item instead of the url, where the data-icon attribute is. I am using the version 1.0.11.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new content type with link field
  2. Set the formatter and widget to "link (with bootstrap icon)" on the link field
  3. Create a new content and select a icon to use. Fill out the rest of the required fields and save it
  4. View the new content and the icon will not show
