Currently link field exports just raw value
What if that field contains a link to another entity. It usually follow this format entity:node/nid for nodes.
The link will be imported as it is, so it's a big chance that the link will be broken.
I propose to create a separate plugin for link field type that will also export an entity that is linked if any.
During import the linked entity will be imported first and then id in the link will be replaced by correct one.
