How to make work with Facets v3, Search API Glossary?

Problem/Motivation

I'm trying to get this working with Facets v3 and Search API Glossary → , so far it doesn't seem to work.

It might be related, but I noticed that the on the glossary facet admin page the URL handler option is present, turned on, but the checkbox is disabled - is this a problem with Search API Glossary or Facets v3?

Steps to reproduce

Install Search API Glossary and Facets v3.
Create a view that shows content from the search index.
Create a glossary facet on the new view.
Display the glossary facet on the page.
