Mercury tray resizes when modal dialogs are opened

Following the release of 2.1.4 and 2.2.0-beta1, when opening modal dialogs (adding new components or editing existing components), the Mercury tray reverts to the default width rather than remaining fixed at its current width. This causes elements on the page to be inaccessible.
