We discussed this on 11/14, and decided on the following:
The Figma designs reflect the use case for one Y, who won’t be using L1 menu items as links.
To build this menu for more universal use cases, we should allow for the L1 menu items to have <nolink>, but the assumption is that ‘most’ Y’s will likely have a page linked here.
We will keep the menu functionality consistent with some of the recent improvements added to the Distro.
Action items:
Use existing Distro functionality with no overrides for the main menu styling: Demo - Home Page | YMCA OF [SPRINGFIELD]
Update L1 font weight & size to match the existing main menu
