Using an 'image' item breaks the XML of a feed

Problem/Motivation

Using the "image" field in an RSS feed breaks the code; the tag doesn't end after , it wraps the and
item inside of it.

Steps to reproduce

1. Set up RSS feed with "Advanced RSS feed"
2. In the format settings, go to Channel elements: core
3. Enter the full URL to an image in the "image" field
4. Review XML from the output, see how it doesn't end the tag appropriately.
