Adjust Items per page select component to the Drupal Design System

Problem/Motivation

At the moment the Items per page select component is using the default browser style.

It is also not meeting the WCAG2.2 success criterion 2.5.8 of having a target size of at least 24px by 24px (green meets the requirement, purple does not)

Proposed resolution

The styling should align with the select component in the Drupal Design System https://www.figma.com/design/OqWgzAluHtsOd5uwm1lubFeH/💧-Drupal-Design-system?node-id=2061-1971&m=dev&t=nd6M8VWuNSXSje1b-1 and it should be ensured that the target size criterion is met as well.
