Chosen pattern variant is not set as default value in pattern block form

Problem/Motivation

When adding a UI Pattern block using the Block Layout /admin/structure/block, the first time you apply the block settings it will save the value incl. the pattern variant. But if you edit the block the chosen pattern variant is not set as default value for the variant field in block form.

Steps to reproduce

Go to /admin/structure/block and add a block in a region
Search for an existing UI Patterns block which has variants
Choose a variant and save the block
Now edit the block
The chosen variant is not shown

Proposed resolution

There is a typo in the variable name that store the configuration. Furthermore the data structure should be a nested array starting with the key 'pattern'.

@thomasmikkel I am not able to reproduce it , I have used button and alert ui pattern block with variants and on editing the selected variant is shown.
