Reference method "Schema.org: Filter by Schema.org types" does not work

I added an Entity Reference field with the setting of Reference method as "Schema.org: Filter by Schema.org types", and the widget is Inline Entity Form complex mode. When adding a node, I clicked on the "Add existing node", and input the title, however, no autocomplete node appearred after the throbber flashed. There was not any browser console error, nor error log on the page /admin/reports/dblog, nor error log in the php-fpm service log file.

When I change the setting of Reference method as "Default", the Inline Entity Form complex mode worked as designed.

I doubt this is a bug, or at least a conflict with some other module?

The latest schemadotorg dev version and Drupal 10.3, PHP 8.2.

I can't reproduce this issue.

My steps were to

Create a new content type (not a Schema.org)

Add an entity reference field with the Schema.org reference method set to Place

Update the form display to use the complex inline entity form

Create a new node and add new and existing nodes to the entity reference field using inline entity form
