Doesn't work out-of-the-box

Problem/Motivation

On a fresh install of Drupal 10.3.6 and installing & enabling this module with composer & drush, and adding an integer field to the default Article content type, using the widget provided by this module breaks the input (not usable), with no errors in the UI or logs, but this in the browser console:

I suspect the required js library is not loaded correctly?
Maybe it should be added as a dependency in the composer.json?
