The "Rift Media Picture" can only be used were entity reference is pointing to Media bundles that uses "image" as source plugin. This makes it difficult to use it with fields which can also reference Video, Podcast and other sources.
Introduce a new formatter which would fallback to "Rendered entity" formatter from core to render the media entities.
