Clients may prefer to be able to edit the entire page via the front end and save all the changes they've made at once, vs individually. While the base functionality of editing and saving individual parts of a page can be communicated to the client/author, I think a better experience would be implementing a way to "preview" all the edits first then save each item on the page at once. Creating a similar feel to the "Edit" page's functionality but purely with the front end.

    As this is a new feature request, it won't be done in 1.x branch. All the new features will be added only to 2.x branch. So I am changing the target version.

    This is an interesting feature request, but it will require a lot of effort to implement.
