Preview mode is not usable, because it's not clear how to save or edit after using "preview"

I replicated this with the "blog" profile check. It's a little frustrating as content editor or marketing user. because that user would like to preview content to make sure it's correct, then click save or publish right from the preview mode. To be stuck at preview w/o additional options is a frustrating user experience.

I tested this with creating a new "Blog" node and then clicking "Preview".
What I noticed on the preview page is that there is "Back to content editing" link on top of the screen. The link takes you back to the edit page where the content you're previewing is waiting to be saved.

@bdadnin, I noticed from your screenshot that your side menu was expanded. Could it be hiding the link?

Yes that is the issue. How would a user know they have to collapse the sidebar menu in order to be able to use the preview functionality? This is not clear and was confusing me and a number of other people. By default the side menu is expanded as well, so you have to proactively collapse the sidebar menu for this to work.

If the bug is in core, I'm not sure this is within Drupal CMS's scope to fix. Maybe we can close this issue in favor of the one in core?
