Enabled Layout Builder + (version 2.1.12) and the manage layout button went away and no Layout tab appears either. Any quick pointers on getting to step zero?
Enabled Layout Builder + on a site that already had layout builder. When no button, no tab, on existing or new content, tried disabling layout builder on default and full content, re-enabling, creating new content… nothing.
Enabled Layout Builder + on a site that did not have layout builder, turned it on for a content type default display, still no button, tab, or any other way to actually build a layout anywhere.

I think you also need to have and enable edit_plus module and edit_plus_lb module (which is a submodule of edit_plus)
Thank you, i think that last one was the one i was missing. I went in a very different direction → to get a facsimile of nesting in layout builder but i hope to try out this stack again soon!
