This won't be done, as it's the main foundation for doing the dashboard at all.
This module redirects users to the canonical dashboard route after log in.
This does not allow us to create custom login destinations. The most common example is when we want to send a user that has a certain role to a different dashboard or URL, or sites are already using some of the login destination modules.
Would you consider adding a configurable setting where we can turn off this redirection functionality this module has?
