The final date of DrupalCon Singapore is the same as a core minor release and the release managers had no prior notice. This resulted in extra work for the release managers to determine the best actual release date. This is further complicated because the releases should include significant new features and one is the first ever maintenance minor release.
Ensure that the release managers are consulted about the date options.
