Red sign "Pending updates" after update to 9.1.5

Created on 3 October 2024, 7 months ago

Problem/Motivation

Hi! I updated from varbase-9.0.14 to varbase-9.1.45 with this instruction.

Now I'm on Drupal 10.3.5 and my Installation profile is Varbase (varbase-9.1.5)

But I can still see the red sign "Pending updates" on the admin toolbar.

When I visit the page /admin/config/development/update-helper, I see "New Updates in Varbase 9.0.6" and similar messages.

My Update helper module version is 4.1.0

Steps to reproduce

Update from varbase-9.0.14 to varbase-9.1.45

Proposed resolution

Maybe Update_helper should be uninstalled?
Or is this still in use?

When running bin/update-varbase.sh:

    Thanks, Alex, for reporting.
    You are right on it.

Yup, We have moved to uninstall Varbase Update Helper, and the Update Helper module in the default Varbase build and fresh installations.

    Thanks for answering, Rajab!

    What is the workflow?

    Is it safe to uninstall:
    1. Varbase Updates Helper
    2. Update Helper
    3. Update Helper Checklist
(to uninstall this module we need to delete X update entities, in my case - 12)
    /admin/modules/uninstall/entity/update_helper_checklist_update
