I want to use this functionality on a Backdrop project. Some teammates had already ported the module internally some time ago, but I am now releasing it to the contrib space. This is just a thank you for the work on the module over the years. No pressure, obviously, but if maintainers here are interested in maintaining (or co-maintaining) for Backdrop, you'd be more than welcome.
