Possibility to upload from S3 bucket

Would it be possible to use this module to bulk create media entities from an S3 (or Azure) bucket? Our use case is we are using the S3FS module to store assets in the cloud, and the client would like to bulk upload directly to the S3 bucket, but be able to access the images via Drupal.
