As a user to the website, it is convenient for me to be able to use my drupal.org credentials to login on a local association website.
The SSO is still a work in progess on the infrastructure side. We need to wait for the usage policy to be written and some tests to be done on the main D7 drupal.org website, localize.drupal.org website and other subsites of the community before we can use it.
It will be based on the Drupal.org cross-site customizations → module.
Each local association website wanting to get access to the SSO will have to request an authorization to drupal.org infrastructure team.
Wait for the infrastructure team to be ready for such implementation.
