I haven't used this module since D8, but I have a new project for which this would be a great fit. I thought previously that each of the paragraphs came with default styling, but I'm not having any luck with that on the latest instance. I figured the issue was my custom theme, so I switched to Olivero. However, this didn't change anything - there are no styles/functionality applied to the carousel, accordion, etc. Bootstrap CSS seems to be loading, which is making this more strange. It won't work in Olivero as that doesn't have any Bootstrap CSS or JS.
Are you loading Bootstrap in your theme?
Thanks for following up, @thejimbirch. I suspect that the problem was a conflict in my custom theme with bootstrap js. I ended up moving on to something else, but if I come back to it and find out anything further, I will post details.
