I'd like to help support this module. The Legal module assumes username/password for the login, which breaks any kind of external authentication method. There is an issue 🐛 Don't log out users who do not accept the T&C Needs review , now seven years old that would address this common use case. In addition, it fixes up the tests and get the pipeline fully green.
I use this in my professional work with client websites and we'd like to see the patch integrated in so we don't have to maintain it any more and the navigation lock method will get security coverage.

Hi John, glad you find the Legal module useful, and thanks for your work on this issue and the offer to help maintain this project.
For now I prefer to solo maintain the module, but will get in contact if I'm looking for a co-maintainer in the future.
