Memory limit issues while rebuilding cache in pantheon

Problem/Motivation

On Pantheon, if I install this module with Redis and rebuild the cache via the UI, I get memory_limit timeouts in either PhpRedis or ApcuBackends. Our php memory limit is set to 1gb.

Once I uninstall this module, I experience no memory limit issues. I also don't experience this issue if I rebuild cache through terminus drush.
