Problem/Motivation

Drupal 10.3 crashes when the Workspace module is enabled as a dependent of the Config Translation module. Workspace enabled alone causes no issues, but a circular reference issue occurs with Workspace once the Config Translation module is enabled. Watchdog list the issues as follow:

Circular reference detected for service "workspaces.information", path: "workspaces.information -> workspaces.association -> logger.channel.workspaces -> workspaces.information".

Steps to reproduce

  • I haven't been able to reproduce this bug with the information given above. Here is what I did:

    1. Created a Drupal 10.3.3 site using https://simplytest.me.
    2. Enabled Workspaces module.
    3. Enabled Configuration Translation module.

    Nothing seems wrong after this. Since the site you are analyzing has crashed we need additional reproduction steps from you.

    It appears prudent to close this issue at this time. In an effort to resolve, I created a new Drupal 10 instance from scratch and reinstalled the core and modules, since no content had been yet added. I could not reproduce the issue, as stated, at this point so I have concluded that the issue may have been a result either previous patches deployed; database corruption or inconsistencies due to numerous previous module adds and deletes or something that I am overlooking. There is no need to create a rabbit hole, so I am filling it in. Thanks for the response.
