[META] Integrate updated SDDS components with XB

Making this a meta to work on each component in its own ticket.

Note that the code here has been merged into main.

Removing parent so I can close it.

Alan has take over the slot refactoring... yay!

But I'll do the YAMLs as he's finishing components.
