Provide the entity (object) in the twig template

Created on 2 September 2024, 3 months ago
Updated 3 September 2024, 3 months ago

Problem/Motivation

Currently the twig template receives the entity id, not the entity object as variable.

It would be far more flexible to have the object instead to be able to do things like this:
Allow using the entity label of the next / previous links as link title tags Postponed

Would be fantastic!

I think that's the entity ID, not the entity that's being added? I'm not sure the linked entity is loaded currently at all. Maybe it makes sense just to add the entity ID and entity type ID, and that can be acted on in a preprocess?
