The project browser reminds me a lot of the installation routine that Wordpress uses to present its users with the plugins available for this system. The module listing there is now available in several languages, which makes selecting and installing modules very easy, especially for inexperienced users and newcomers. We should proceed in a similar way here and implement a system that makes it possible to offer the descriptions of the modules available for Drupal in languages other than English.
I am well aware that it will take a very long time before we have created all the descriptions for all or even just for the modules that are currently being developed. Nevertheless, the project browser should be able to output module descriptions of different lengths in different languages.
The individual categories into which the modules are currently divided should also be made translatable in the interest of a consistent user interface. Since I haven't found anything specific about this yet, I'm creating this problem report in the hope that we can find a solution here or have already found one.
Install Drupal with a different language then english as default
install Project Browser
Go to - Extend/Browse.
The Filter Categories on the left are still english
Current behaviour: Module descirptions are still english
Expected behaviour: Module categories as well as module descriptions should be available in the display language used for the admin interface.
