The module page boasts "The Drupal Activities module is designed to track and log user transactions for CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations within a Drupal website."
But, really, it isn't and it doesn't.
As can be learned from the /config/activities and /admin/config/system/activity pages, the Activities module solely concerns itself with CUD (Create, Update, Delete) operations.
Just install the module and try it out.
