Could the dynamic loading be extended to the core Taxononmy edit page?

This sound very interesting indeed since we have exactly that - large hierarchical taxonomies and managing them is really troublesome for our novice content-editors.

We will certainly investigate this and come back with feedback but in the meantime, I have another question/feature request…

We currently use Hierarchy Manager and Entity Reference Tree Widget to manage large hierarchical taxonomies but the combination really doesn't work well for novices because it continually collapses the tree back after each AJAX edit and they just don't get on with it.

What would work better for them would be if we could extend the AJAX-loading provided by this module so that editors could use the feature to edit via the normal core Taxonomy edit page as shown here with example levels 1, 2, and 3 collapsed by default and expanding on click.

Might that be possible?

    Hello @SirClickalot

Thanks for the feedback and nice words about the module. I think your request is out of the scope of this module, as the module only tests a custom widget and a view filter to handle multi-level taxonomies, but does not affect the taxonomy edit page. Maybe you can open a topic in Hierarchy Manager to request to keep the expanded level on reload.

As I told you, I am closing this issue because it is not within the scope of this module, I will be happy to receive more feedback or requests in the future.
